This here is Jack. While the business was originally named after his dad, he carries the torch in his dad’s honor nowadays. Detailed craftsmanship has been instilled within me from a young age. I grew up seeing my parents and grandparents restore life to old homes - taking something forgotten or not yet imagined and making it entirely new. Now, I hope to bring the same amount of passion and purpose to all the possibilities you have in mind.

Named after a constant loyal companion, and favorite four-legged friend, Retriever Woodworks began five years ago as a dream of making a difference in the woodworking space. After hearing of and experiencing the lack of dedication to detail and ingenuity, owner and founder Jacob Thomsen set out to bring craftsmanship back to the forefront of custom and bespoke woodwork. With a passion for creating pieces that become a long and loyal part of one’s life, Retriever Woodworks is a breath of fresh air in the bespoke and custom woodworking space.
